Passing cars are the only noise that disturbs the tranquillity of this rural village on top of Himalayas in North West Bengal, 8,500 ft above sea level. This is one such place where you would definitely want to go after a dead tiring month. Let my vision speak- How about to just wake up to the chirping of birds instead of an alarm clock and find snow-capped peaks right outside your window early in the morning or sit nearby a bonfire outside your wooden cottage to enjoy the rush in your veins! May be a small one hour trekking to hill top of “tifindara” through the uninhabited forest from dawn to sunrise. Enough to heal that aching feet or the creative blockage you have been struggling with. “Rishap” is a not so populated place to visit. The village with 8 cottages and home stays in total and heart touching hospitability, is what makes it more beautiful...
